God calling your name twice part-2

And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?” Act 9:4

Praise the Lord , in the above verses Jesus Christ speaks to  saul. In bible we read about many miracle’s, Jesus Christ gives sight to blind, makes lame to walk, heals leper, delivers people from evil spirit , even raises dead to life. But greatest miracle which we can see is converting a sinner to saint. Saul was against the followers of Jesus Christ. On the very day when Jesus Christ met him , he was going to destroy Christians. But the Light of Jesus Christ changed him to become “Apostle Paul”. Paul himself says he was chief among sinners , but Our Lord is able to convert him into a Saint. Apostle Paul while still he was alive he was sure that the Lord will give him crown of righteousness I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” 2 Tim 4:7 .

Here God is calling us to lead a consecrated Apostolic life . A life full of faith, completely depending on Lord for all our needs. As God changed Saul to Paul, He is ready to change us. We may not be like saul persecuting others,  but we may be committed to worldly things, enjoying worldly luxuries , hence Jesus says friendship of world is enemy to God. Paul who was wealthy led a simple life. God also expects us to live simple life.  when we completely submit and follow Jesus Christ, He is able to change us. Like Apostle Paul we must have faith, when we finish our race, we must be sure to receive crown by the Grace of God.

God calling your name twice- Part 1

And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.”- 1 Sam 3:10

God called Samuel twice. Samuel was only a small boy ( around 7yrs)  when Lord spoke to him. The creater of heaven and earth was seeking a person , so that He can share the burden of whole world. Samuel birth, life , and ministry was a special one. Samuel was a promised child, he grew up in temple of God (separated life), he did three kinds of ministry 1.Priest 2.Prophet 3.Judge. He was faithful to God in his work until end.

Perhaps our name may not be a Samuel, but God calls everyone with a purpose, He needs them to do His ministry. But what we are doing is we are praying for our earthly blessing instead of   perishing souls. Though we may lack something’s in our life, but we must diligently hear the voice of God and do His will. Like Samuel we must also say “Speak; for thy servant heareth“. All God needs not a very talented person, But a person completely obedient in doing His will.

Dear readers in the above message there may not be correct English grammar, the revelation from God may not be deep. But I write it , only to encourage myself to grow spiritually. To spiritually grown people ,these messages may be simple not much significant but to unsaved people and new souls it may help them some way. Praise the Lord

God speaks !

I have many unanswered prayers. Thinking of those, only makes me weary. But when ever I commit sin, God convicts me through messages, bible or some other way. When God convicts, I question him, “Lord I have many unanswered prayers, but you won’t comment on those, but you warn  & ask me to correct my life when I go wrong, Why is it so? ”

Afterall I am an mortal man, made of clay, I have no rights to question God, but still in mind I question .

When we commit sin and God convicts, corrects us , we must be happy. We must set our life right.

To some of us , when we are on wrong path and when God never corrects us or warn us, we must not feel happy, we must neither feel our path is right. It shows that God has stopped speaking us. Because he would have already warned, convicted us, but our ears are deaf to His voice.

Its not too late, still when we look up to Calvary, and pray sincerely, ask forgiveness for our sins , God will forgive and forget our sins.

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered”.-Psa 32:1
