Caring God!

Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

“So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin;

and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’

For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.- (Matt 6:26-33)

Moral: Jesus will take care all your needs, just trust in Him.

Great Faith of 38 years

After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

2 Now there is in Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.

3 In these lay a great multitude of invalid folk — blind, halt, withered — waiting for the moving of the water.

4 For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool and troubled the water. Whosoever then first stepped in, after the troubling of the water, was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.

5 And a certain man was there who had an infirmity for thirty and eight years.

6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he had been in that state a long time, He said unto him, “Wilt thou be made whole?”

7 The infirm man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool; but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.”

8 Jesus said unto him, “ Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.”

9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed and walked. – John 5:1-9

Moral: The man who was disabled for 38 years was healed by the words of Jesus Christ. That man was a most blessed man, because God Himself came and healed. Compared to others, they were healed by the troubled water of angel.
There is a great faith, we can learn from this man, he patiently waited for 38 years to receive healing. Our situation may be like that man, many years we would have prayed for certain things, but God would have delayed the answer. But soon Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself will come and deliver us from all our problems. Psa 91:15.
Let us not give up our hope, Let God give us Grace to continue in our prayer life.

You are a chosen one :-)

Many times we think we have chosen  Jesus Christ as our God. The reality is Jesus Christ has chosen us before the creation of world.

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: ” Eph 1:4

Jesus Christ has only one purpose in our life is to give us “eternal life”, which man lost in the eden garden. But after Adam fell, God’s hope didn’t fail, Jesus Christ came in human form set a perfect example, and died on cross and resurrected to open a way to eternal life.

Tit 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

Let God give us Grace to attain that eternal life.

His Mercy Endureth forever !!

It is through the Lord’S mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.

Theyare new every morning; great is Thy faithfulness”-Lam 3:22,23

Daily god gives us his grace and mercy. Who ever seeks His mercy , will receive it. Jacob wrestled with God till morning. In the early morning God blessed him and gave new name “Israel”. From then onwards his life was blessed . wrestling of Jacob in morning can be compared to our “Morning praise & prayer”. When we seek God early He will bless us, deliver us from captivity more than all we receive Grace and Mercy required for that day, Hence we must seek God daily. Let God give us Grace to seek Him early morning..

God bears you!

“And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you. Isa 46:4

This is a very beautiful promise of our Lord Jesus. He have promised

1.He will be our God even at our old age- means He will lead You until end.

2.God will carry you even at your old age (grey hairs)- means at old age  spiritually God will enable us to live a holy life pleasing God.

3.God Bear’s you– there are many meaning, in one sense as a mother bears a baby for nine months,God will take care of our all needs, we need ask for anything, God himself will provide what we want.

4. God delivers you–  two meanings 1.delivering us from all trouble’s.   2.final deliverance from this world- rapture.

Two mites

“Then one poor widow came and threw in two mites, which make a quadrans.”

He(Jesus Christ) called His disciples to Himself and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all those who have given to the treasury;for they all put in out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all that she had, her whole livelihood.” -Mark 11:42-44

Jesus Christ was watching how people were giving money into treasury. Rich gave much, but this widow put two mites into treasury. Jesus Christ would have felt happy of that widow’s two mite. Hence He highlighted that widow’s offering.

Some times we may be in a situation of financial crisis, our friends or people close to us may ask us for money . we may say no to them. We may say to God ” I have only small saving, which is not sufficient for my need. Sorry God, I can’t lend money to him”.  But our God will not be pleased by our answer. What he expects is we must help them.  He knows if we have much money we will surely lend them. But God wants to check (test) us, do we really have a helping nature . In most of times we fail. When we  like that widow  help others with our small contribution, surely God will Bless us. Let God give us Grace to help others.

Power in the “shadow”

“insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks and those who were vexed with unclean spirits; and they were healed, every one.” Acts 5:15-16

As Jesus promised “he who believes in me will do Greater things than me” was fulfilled in  Peter’s life. The very shadow of peter healed many sick people. Interesting thing is, Apostle Peter’s shadow could heal sick. We may be a unworthy vessel to proclaim God’s word, but God will make us a Worthy vessel , Bless us and use us a blessing to others. Let God give us grace to make us honourable vessel.
