Great Faith of 38 years

After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

2 Now there is in Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.

3 In these lay a great multitude of invalid folk — blind, halt, withered — waiting for the moving of the water.

4 For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool and troubled the water. Whosoever then first stepped in, after the troubling of the water, was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.

5 And a certain man was there who had an infirmity for thirty and eight years.

6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he had been in that state a long time, He said unto him, “Wilt thou be made whole?”

7 The infirm man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool; but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.”

8 Jesus said unto him, “ Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.”

9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed and walked. – John 5:1-9

Moral: The man who was disabled for 38 years was healed by the words of Jesus Christ. That man was a most blessed man, because God Himself came and healed. Compared to others, they were healed by the troubled water of angel.
There is a great faith, we can learn from this man, he patiently waited for 38 years to receive healing. Our situation may be like that man, many years we would have prayed for certain things, but God would have delayed the answer. But soon Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself will come and deliver us from all our problems. Psa 91:15.
Let us not give up our hope, Let God give us Grace to continue in our prayer life.

Power in the “shadow”

“insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks and those who were vexed with unclean spirits; and they were healed, every one.” Acts 5:15-16

As Jesus promised “he who believes in me will do Greater things than me” was fulfilled in  Peter’s life. The very shadow of peter healed many sick people. Interesting thing is, Apostle Peter’s shadow could heal sick. We may be a unworthy vessel to proclaim God’s word, but God will make us a Worthy vessel , Bless us and use us a blessing to others. Let God give us grace to make us honourable vessel.

New life

O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.                     O LORD My God, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave:           thou hast kept me alive.

For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is my life: weeping may endure for a night,     but joy cometh in the morning.

Thou hast turned my mourning into dancing:                                     thou hast put off sackcloth and clothed me with joy                            that my heart may sing your praises for ever.

Heavenly language…

Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting:

“Hallelujah!

For our Lord God Almightyreigns. Revelation 19:6

The word  ‘hallelujah’ is an heavenly language. The people who have received holy spirit can speak in tongues, denotes heavenly language. I am eagerly waiting for Holy spirit , I was wondering what is the language they will speak in heaven, people from allover world from all generations will gather. What may the language of communication in heaven?. Only God knows what language speak there. But the word hallelujah  which apostle John reveals in revelation  shows one word of heavenly language. Let God give us Grace to receive holy spirit and reach heaven and fully experience speaking in heavenly language.
