The lost son and his father

” And he said, A certain man had two sons:And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. Luke15:11-24

this parable here gives direct message. The younger  son , who once was good, fell into temptation and lost everything. But when he repented for his mistake , his father forgave him.

The younger son (prodigal son) here refers  to YOU and ME .After salvation we receive anointing of holyspirit, by receiving holyspirit we become sons of heavenly father -Romans 8:15. At this stage we know truth that Jesus Christ is only true God but still we go away from God, that is due to carnal temptation. Carnal things is nothing but worldly things. When God blesses us much, we must thank God, we must be humble, we must help poor, instead the richness must not separates us from God. But our gracious God is always waiting, when we will return to Him. As the father ran , hugged and kissed his son, our heavenly father is also waiting for us. When we truly repent, and turn to God, God will restore our salvation and give us a new anointing. Let us repent and return to Jesus Christ, and ask His forgiveness.

” Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. ” – Matt 3:2

The Lost Coin !

“Either what woman having ten pieces(coin) of silver, if she lose one piece(Coin), doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?

And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.”  Luke 15:8-9

This lost coin is we (I and you). Once we were lost in this world following things of this world. We didn’t know there is a living loving God Jesus Christ. As a coin is non living thing , there was no life in our  spiritual life. We were not content, in our education, job, money or family life. Nothing was not able to satisfy us, but when our loving Jesus found us, There came life in our lives, We got a peace, joy, satisfaction and true happiness that this world cannot give. Thank Jesus Christ our beloved saviour, who found us , saved us, made worthy to be with Him in eternity. Let us pray to God receive His Grace to be caught up in His coming…

God calling your name twice

“But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.

And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:

But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her. “-Luke 10:40-42

Here in above incident, we see one common thing in Martha and Mary, they both were serving Lord Jesus. Martha was busy preparing food for Jesus, but Mary was at the feet of Jesus.
Jesus was pleased with Mary, because what she chose was correct. She was at the feet of God, who had created heaven and earth. But Martha didn’t have that revelation. Martha even accused Jesus for not sending, Mary to kitchen, to help her.

Hence Jesus quoted above verse, Calling Martha Martha..

Even we may be busy whole day in our own business and work. We  think we are regular church goers, praying person, and we will be caught up in his coming.

Being at the feet of Jesus Christ in one sense can be compared to meditating the word of God all time, where ever we may be. But very often we forget to meditate the word of God.

Let God give us grace to meditate in His word.

“Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.” – Psa 119:140

Be a good soldier !

Blessed be the LORD my strength, which

(2 Timothy 2:1 to 10)

“1   Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

2   And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

3   Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

4   No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

5   And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.

6   The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.

7   Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.

8   Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:

9   Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.

10   Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. “

Moral: God has called and chosen us for His eternal purpose to be fulfilled in our life. In this spiritual journey, we must pray and fight in prayers to obtain the eternal life. We must not always seek others for prayer help. God wants to teach us so that we alone need to fight in prayer to grow in spiritual life. we know the victory is ours, because our Jesus Christ Have already defeated the Satan on cross. God also expects that we must pray for the salvation of unsaved persons, let god give us grace to pray.

“Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:” (Ps 144:1)
