No one knows when Jesus Christ will come !!

” But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. ” – Matt 24:36

Only our heavenly father knows about rapture(second coming of Jesus christ). In matthew 24th chapter we read of all the prophecies that will happen during second coming of jesus. Those things are happening right in front of our eyes. But still how long will it take no one knows not even Jesus christ the son of God. One thing is sure that He will come. Only our heavenly father Lord the God knows it.

Let us not be decieved when somebody says that Jesus is going to come on a particular day or time, because Jesus himself doesn’t know when his second coming us?. Hence Let us always be prepared to meet God. Faithful is He who have promised, surely he will come.

” And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”- Rev 22:12

God gives you respect!

“Though the Lord be high, yet hath been respect unto the lowly. But the proud he knoweth afar off.”- Psalms 138:6

People of this world may honour us and give respect ,which depends on our riches, education,  power and authority, famous personality,  beauty and last thing to mention is spiritual people.
But God gives you respect seeing our humbleness.
God resists the pride, but gives grace to humble.

Our education ,qualification, job,  family  situation may be such that no one may give respect. We ourselves known that none can help except God. But one thing is true that the creater of heaven and earth  respect us and honours us. God doesn’t expect any worldly things like edu., rich…etc from us, he wants us only to be humble. He needs us to humble because heaven is only for humble people. Dear child of God do not be disappointed and dejected when people despise you. Lord Jesus loves you.

“Blessed are meek for they shall inherit earth.”

Purpose of birth of Jesus christ

Jesus Christ was born in this world for to correct the mistake of fallen man. In this month of december we remember and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

The relationship of God and adam was like father and son. Adam is called the son of God. Since the fall of Adam, God sent him out of eden garden. Eden garden had the tree of life, since man committed sin, father had to take strict decision and sent him out.  God prevented man to eat fruit of tree of life and live in fallen sinful nature for eternal.
Hence our saviour Jesus christ was born to correct man’s sin. Jesus Christ way to correcting mankind was different way. He gave only two Commandments. Two commandments were of Commandments of Love. Jesus christ led a perfect life, sacrificed himself for the redemption of mankind.
The relation of Jesus and church is compared to bridegroom and bride. This relationship is stronger than the previous relationship of  father and son i.e. God and adam.
Hence we who live in the period if grace enjoy the mercy of God  for His forgiveness.

Jesus loved us so much, that He humbled himself, came down from heaven, was born on this earth in human form , overcame sin, led a perfect holy life , died on cross and resurrected. Now He is waiting for His beloved Bride(Church).   let us be  prepared to meet our bridegroom.
” For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” John 3:16

Great faith !

“when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? ” -Luke 18:8

Jesus Christ said above verses when He was telling the parable of unjust judge and widow. That unjust judge heard and avenged to the widow, similarly God will answer all our prayers, He may delay but but will surely answer our request.

One thing we learn here is, when the Lord is near, God expects we must have faith in Him. Because since we are in a world of full of sin , in this sinful world to live a Holy life, Righteous life, forgiving and loving our adversaries is difficult, even though we try to make it with our own ability is only a small thing in the sight of God. Hence God expects aleast we must grow in faith life day to day, we may be Holy for a day but next day we may commit sin, but in  aspect of   faith we must grow from faith to faith.  Our holiness is nothing compared to God’s Holiness, our righteousness is nothing compared to God’s righteousness. Hence only by faith we believe , we will be caught up in His coming.  Let us pray to God and receive His Grace to be seen with.

“But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. – Jude 1:20-21

God calling your name twice

“But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.

And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:

But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her. “-Luke 10:40-42

Here in above incident, we see one common thing in Martha and Mary, they both were serving Lord Jesus. Martha was busy preparing food for Jesus, but Mary was at the feet of Jesus.
Jesus was pleased with Mary, because what she chose was correct. She was at the feet of God, who had created heaven and earth. But Martha didn’t have that revelation. Martha even accused Jesus for not sending, Mary to kitchen, to help her.

Hence Jesus quoted above verse, Calling Martha Martha..

Even we may be busy whole day in our own business and work. We  think we are regular church goers, praying person, and we will be caught up in his coming.

Being at the feet of Jesus Christ in one sense can be compared to meditating the word of God all time, where ever we may be. But very often we forget to meditate the word of God.

Let God give us grace to meditate in His word.

“Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.” – Psa 119:140

Be a good soldier !

Blessed be the LORD my strength, which

(2 Timothy 2:1 to 10)

“1   Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

2   And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

3   Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

4   No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

5   And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.

6   The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.

7   Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.

8   Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:

9   Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.

10   Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. “

Moral: God has called and chosen us for His eternal purpose to be fulfilled in our life. In this spiritual journey, we must pray and fight in prayers to obtain the eternal life. We must not always seek others for prayer help. God wants to teach us so that we alone need to fight in prayer to grow in spiritual life. we know the victory is ours, because our Jesus Christ Have already defeated the Satan on cross. God also expects that we must pray for the salvation of unsaved persons, let god give us grace to pray.

“Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:” (Ps 144:1)
