The most Blessed man on earth !

image

Matthew 27:32 And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.

Mark 15:21 And they compel one Simon a Cyrenian, who passed by, coming out of the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to bear his cross.

Luk 23:26 And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.

Simon  of Cyrene was going  out,  we really don’t know where he was going. He might would have come out to see Jesus. But the soldiers compelled him to carry  the cross . We really don’t know how far he carried the cross of Jesus Christ. But the truth is he was the most blessed person on earth in my opinion. Because  the sin of whole world was upon on the cross, which Jesus Christ was carrying.

Simon was compelled to carry this cross. There were 12 disciples but they all ran away.

Isa 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

The curse, iniquities, transgression, sickness, bondage, all together  our sin was upon Jesus Christ , He was carrying these as cross on his shoulder.
Which Simon of Cyrene carried to little distance. He carried only little distance because after that the verse we read soon Jesus Christ was crucified.

Today Jesus Christ is asking everyone one of us will you carry My cross.??

Everybody of us have trials, tribulation, sickness, difficulties which we need to carry daily and overcome it. Only then we can inherit the throne and reign with Jesus. Without cross there is no throne. Jesus Christ successfully overcame in this test and is on the right hand side of Lord the God. Likewise we need to overcome in our trial to be seated at right side of Jesus Christ.

Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Glorious creation of God !!

“When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: ” (Psa 8:3-6)

Today millions of people all over world  have witnessed this visual spectacular in sky “ Blue moon lunar eclipse”.

Onething it reminds is the greatness of our creater God Jesus Christ.  God have created earth in such a perfect spherical shape that its shadow  is percfect circular in shape , which we can see during lunar eclipse.
During solar eclipse we can see the moon covering sun , at that time we see perfect spherical shape of moon.

The above events which we see in the sky shows how big and great is our creater God.
It reminds us that sun, moon, and also stars are still in perfection as God created.
Only man have fallen from perfection. By the fall of Adam  mankind lost perfection but by Jesus Christ mankind again regained the perfection. Hence by following Jesus we can attain the lost perfection. Let us run the race with one hope of attaining the perfect character of Jesus Christ.

” Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:” –  Colosians 1:28

Give first preference to God.

”Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” – Psalms 51:10

In Psalms 51 chapter we read about the confession of King David. He was convicted of sin with Bathsheba. Hence he with a broken heart seek  God for His forgiveness.  Here David ask God to create a clean heart and right spirit  in him.

When people of Israel was in battle with their enemies , David being a King should have  been there in battle. But he was in palace at that time, this shows he was led by a wrong spirit,  which in turn led into a sin with Bathsheba.

This can be compare to our spirutual battle. During church hour we must go and attend church. If we do not go to church on Sundays, and go to some other place and spend time in vainly then we will get into trouble, this shows we are led by wrong spirit. Surely we will commit sin. Hence we need to be careful, attend Sunday worship , Bible studies . we must give first preference to God and seek him. The right spirit always urges us to attend church meeting. Let God give us Grace to seek him presence diligently.

“Teach me to do thy will; for thou [art] my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.” – Psa 143:10

The Lost Sheep

What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?

And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.  -Luke 15:4-

In the last article we read about lost coin, but lost sheep is different from lost coin. Sheep has life, it knows it’s Shepherd , it knows it’s herd.

Sheep can be compared to a person who got saved, led a spiritual life for some period of time and then went away from the God. We would have experience of salvation , Jesus Christ died on cross for my sins, and I  am redeemd by His precious blood. But when God delays to answer our prayers, trial , tribulations we face makes us to go away from presence of God. Sometimes we make wrong decisions in our education, career, job, and in family life, makes us to go away from God.

Sheep follows it’s Shepherd by:

Sight:  as sheep follow by looking at Shepherd we must look at Jesus Christ only. when we don’t read the Bible, don’t go to church regularly, don’t pray regularly, we will go away from God.

Voice :  as sheep hears its voice and follow him we need to follow Jesus Christ .we may be physically present in church, but our mind may be thinking something else, we may be mentally absent. When God speaks to us through sermons, servant of God, or by prophecy, we may think  that is not for me, simply ignore it. By these ways go astray from God.

Walk : or running, as sheep follow its shepered. We must follow the foot step of Jesus Christ. Thy word is lamp unto my feet and light unto my path(PS 119). Mediation of word of God help us to follow Jesus. Many times when we are sick, when trial comes , we will get weary , we get discouraged and doubt God,  give up going to church.

Our situation may be same like the sheep lost its sight, deaf to voice of God, lost our path. But As the Shepherd comes in search of the lost sheep, and when he finds it, he layeth the sheep on his shoulders, Jesus Christ our Shepherd comes in search of us.  His love of Calvary saved us, brought us to His presence. Even though many times we forget His love, forget precious salvation we have received, Our beloved Shepherd Jesus Christ never forgets us. He finds us, takes us upon His shoulders, like a father until we reach His home.

Unique thing in this parable is, after the shepered finds the sheep, He never allows it to walk among the hered, He Himself carries on His shoulders. This can be compared to we the believers, having fellowship with servants of God, holding on to the promises  that God have given us, God will enable us to reach His home.
Jesus Christ:  ” I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.”   (John 10:11)

The Lost Coin !

“Either what woman having ten pieces(coin) of silver, if she lose one piece(Coin), doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?

And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.”  Luke 15:8-9

This lost coin is we (I and you). Once we were lost in this world following things of this world. We didn’t know there is a living loving God Jesus Christ. As a coin is non living thing , there was no life in our  spiritual life. We were not content, in our education, job, money or family life. Nothing was not able to satisfy us, but when our loving Jesus found us, There came life in our lives, We got a peace, joy, satisfaction and true happiness that this world cannot give. Thank Jesus Christ our beloved saviour, who found us , saved us, made worthy to be with Him in eternity. Let us pray to God receive His Grace to be caught up in His coming…

Great faith !

“when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? ” -Luke 18:8

Jesus Christ said above verses when He was telling the parable of unjust judge and widow. That unjust judge heard and avenged to the widow, similarly God will answer all our prayers, He may delay but but will surely answer our request.

One thing we learn here is, when the Lord is near, God expects we must have faith in Him. Because since we are in a world of full of sin , in this sinful world to live a Holy life, Righteous life, forgiving and loving our adversaries is difficult, even though we try to make it with our own ability is only a small thing in the sight of God. Hence God expects aleast we must grow in faith life day to day, we may be Holy for a day but next day we may commit sin, but in  aspect of   faith we must grow from faith to faith.  Our holiness is nothing compared to God’s Holiness, our righteousness is nothing compared to God’s righteousness. Hence only by faith we believe , we will be caught up in His coming.  Let us pray to God and receive His Grace to be seen with.

“But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. – Jude 1:20-21
